Throughout the class, you'll experiment with various tools and discover how alcohol inks interact and blend to produce vibrant colors and mesmerizing patterns. With the freedom to explore your style and preferences, you'll create one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects your individuality and creativity. All materials will be provided, including alcohol inks, specialized papers, resin, and other essential tools. Techniques Learned: Drop and Spread, Blending, Droplet, Lift-off, Heat/Air Application Material Information: 2 - 9" X 12" X 2" Birch wood panels or 1-9" X 12" X 2" and 1- 4" X 12" masonite board (can be framed.) Samples: 2 Tools Materials Provided: Paper in various sizes, Ink, Resin, Final Boards, Tape, Butane Torch, X-ACTO knife, glue, Alcohol (sorry, not the drinking kind), Tape, Gloves, Air Blower, Brushes, Mixing Cups, Paper Towel, Wax Paper, and Foam Plates. Everything you will need to create two finished pieces of work, several learning and experimental pieces, alcohol inks, and resin to take home to keep the creativity flowing.
