Mosaic Graffiti - Wednesday 1:30-4PM
Patricia Swanson – Join us for an exciting class of wild mosaic stenciling and learn how to emboss.
Service Description
Patricia will guide you in using fractal concepts, layering paint, and structuring your composition to create abstract art – and every board will be as different as the personalities in the room! These finishes can be used to create a quick feature wall for a client (or, as seen in our first photograph, as a creative background for trompe l’oeil or other art.) Express yourself in your choice of dozens of stencils and quick-drying layers of color as you make your samples your own. Join the laughter and fun as we create up to 3 sample boards from wild to steam-punk to serene. Tools To Bring: Two or more stencil brushes (one very large 2" diameter or more, and one smaller); Two small roller handles (either 4” or 7” or both); 6 fuzzy roller covers that fit your handles; one kitchen-type scrubby sponge (with a rough side); a roll of paper towels; a roll of delicate masking tape; 1 black sponge brush (2” size or smaller); 5 or 6 plastic grocery bags.
