Spend a full day learning the complete mural process with one of the Midwest's busiest working muralists. Tony Stafki has painted murals full time for 19 years through his company Walls of Art LLC, based in the Twin Cities and working nationwide. His portfolio spans hundreds of murals in every style from cartoon to photorealistic, and every scale from nursery rooms to 100 foot silo murals. In this workshop he shares the working process behind that career, start to finish. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN This beginner-friendly overview covers the full arc of a mural project: - Layout: planning your design and getting it onto the surface - Paints and glazes for mural work - Layering and shading to build depth and dimension - Blacklight - Topcoats to protect the finished piece Each student completes one large sample during the class. WHO SHOULD ATTEND This class is designed as an accessible entry point for professional finishers. If murals are not yet part of your service list, this is the place to start.
