Service Description
For thousands of years, relief sculpture has transformed the world's greatest architecture, from the temples of ancient Egypt and Greece to grand European cathedrals and the Art Deco movement. Today, this timeless art is experiencing an exciting revival as designers and homeowners once again seek handcrafted walls with depth, texture, and lasting beauty. Join award-winning plaster relief artist and Certified Master Stencilist Ellie Ellis as she explores the fascinating journey of relief through history and reveals how this ancient art has evolved into one of today's most sought-after decorative finishes. Through inspiring imagery, behind-the-scenes stories, and real-world commissions, you will discover how sculptural walls can elevate interiors, expand your creative possibilities, and open the door to exciting new opportunities in the decorative arts. Whether you are a decorative painter, muralist, faux finisher, or simply curious about dimensional art, this presentation will change the way you see walls and what is possible with them. Your presenter: Ellie Ellis is a Master Decorative Artisan and Certified Master Stencilist with more than twenty years in high-end surface design. She works in bas relief, fine-art frescoes, and sculptural texture, turning flat surfaces into dimensional work. She founded the Elite Artistry Academy and teaches her Art of Depth method.
