Service Description
Hands-on training on how to apply Valpaint Meteore 14 with Rawn Ohnstad of Halo Art & Design. This versatile Italian product can be used on countertops, floors, and showers, from stria-effect shower walls to multi-color and single-color decorative surfaces. Students complete 5 sample boards using Valpaint Meteore 14 with CT 45 and CT 80 topcoats. Your instructor: Rawn Ohnstad earned his B.S. in Exhibit Design, Graphic Design, and Illustration from Bemidji State University, then developed his specialization in decorative and specialty finishes in Denver, Colorado, honing his craft in plaster glazing and wood finishing techniques including antiquing, distressing, and glazing. He has spent 26 years in the industry, with formal training at ProTec in Toronto, Canada, and Valpaint in Ancona, Italy. Rawn provides all materials and sample boards. Please bring: notebook, pen, sharpie, and trowels.
