Learn to create big, bold watercolor-style designs using conventional faux finishing products in unconventional ways. Serene vibes, eye-catching botanicals, and a fresh take on beachy washes can be created on walls or canvas, giving you a broad range of options for your clients and designers. If you are contemplating transitioning from working on walls or want to add new artistic outlets to your portfolio, these finishes are designed to be used on multiple substrates. In class, we’ll complete five samples, and I’ll share alternate colorways for the finishes you can create at home. • Learn to manipulate well-known decorative finishing products to create bold watercolor looks. • Add samples to your portfolio that will appeal to clients and designers looking for a custom-painted botanical-inspired wallpaper style • Receive recipes, tips, and alternate colorways for the designs you can complete at home. • Use my product knowledge and “outside the box” direction to set you up for success. Set/Dry Time: Approx 1 hr. Material Information: Art Cambric canvas 18x24 can be rolled for transport or can be shipped in a tube. Samples: 5 Tools and Materials Provided: Art cambric canvas to make samples on, all paints and supplies and extra tools for mark making will be provided. Tool Materials Needed: Watercolor artist brushes, catalyst tool, water spray bottle.

The Student registering for (a) an IDAL-hosted class is advised that after registering for a scheduled IDAL class, Student hereby acknowledges and consents to the following access restrictions and the Student agrees as follows: Student acknowledges and agrees that IDAL is hosting these class events solely for the benefit Of Student, based solely on Student’s promise and consent as stated herein: NOT to record the class under any circumstances, NOT to make a digital copy of a class for any reason or purpose, and shall NOT offer any such access for sale or free. The student shall NOT assign their access rights to any person. By registering for an IDAL online class Student shall be a Licensee of IDAL and thus granted limited participation rights as described here. The student agrees and promises not to violate any copyright or other exclusive rights of IDAL when accessing the class. This grant of licensing rights is exclusive to the individual registered Student and must not be shared in any manner or form with any other person or entity. Student agrees that in the event that the Student decides to cancel a class, it is the Student’s responsibility to resell that class. The student acknowledges that IDAL will not refund the cost of any class. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Student hereby agrees that IDAL may photograph or videograph the Student in the context of the Convention without compensation and use said images for publicity purposes. A student’s failure to fully and completely abide by the requirements stated above will jeopardize Students' continued membership with IDAL should be banned, and participation in all future IDAL activities should be banned.
