IDAL Fall 2023 Newsletter

Dear Fellow creators, This has been quite a year. The word “new” is the only word I can describe for everything that’s been going on. Since our convention in April, we have launched a beautiful new website and are so happy with the very positive feedback being received. We also launched new online classes, which you will read about in this newsletter. Another “new” is the introduction of our e-newsletter, Artisans Quarterly, edited by our past president Kathy Otto. Here are a few words from Kathy and her reasons for reviving and recreating an IDAL newsletter: Welcome to "Artisans Quarterly" your new artistic oasis! We're thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with you, exploring the boundless world of artistry, imagination, and self-expression. Whether you are a seasoned artist with a portfolio that spans the horizon or someone who is just dipping their toes into the colorful waters of creativity, this newsletter is designed to be your trusted companion. Each quarter, we'll bring you a curated selection of inspiration, techniques, and resources to fuel your artistic passions and help you flourish in your craft. I’m so proud of our Board of Directors, committee chairs and volunteers. We could not have done all of this without you. If you are interested in helping out with projects in the future, or joining a team, please contact me at president@idal.org. Volunteers are the backbone of IDAL and make our nonprofit the very best it can be.

Have a creative day. – Jodi
