I am so excited to announce that our new interactive website is up and running! The website immediately conveys who we are, what IDAL offers to current and prospective members, and what decorative artisans, specifically IDAL artisans, can offer to any designers, related trade or potential clients.
At the bottom of this page, please click on the link to get yourself set up on the site, but please read through this letter first.
The new system is more versatile and user-friendly. We have greater opportunities to reach out through social media to existing and new members. Multimedia video, photos, galleries, and slideshows have been added to showcase the work of our members and events.
Our new Find a Pro integrated map, Business Partner and Professional Account listings will make it easier for clients to find members in a specific area with specific specialties. You will also have a more powerful profile with social media links to increase your exposure for prospective clients. One must be at the Professional Level to be included in Find A Pro.
Convention management will become smoother for class sign ups. At the convention, we will use mobile entry tickets which will keep track of all the classes and events that the member has signed up for. Reminders and alerts will be sent in a timely manner.
Also, teacher applications on the new online form have been streamlined, making it easier to upload class photos for evaluation by your Education Committee. The convention class pages are more advanced with integrated social media links to help with promotion. Take a look at highlights from the past convention. I think you will be very impressed.

This has been a true labor of love, and I have many to thank for making this a reality. Our web-designer, Brian Prosser, and board member Dean Sickler have led the project and we are so grateful for their time and dedication. Dean introduced Brian to us and spent countless volunteer hours assisting him with anything needed.
